CARIBOU HUNTS

SEASONS: The 2004 season runs from August 10th through October 4th.
PRICES:
First.. the cost.. The 2004 price for this hunt is $3,995 US.. no add-on prices. FIVE complete hunting days. ONE experienced guide for every four hunters.
INCLUDED:
The package includes the following:
- Five complete hunting days round trip from Montreal (*You get to Montreal.. Aventure Tunilik takes it from there!)
- Two way airfare between Montreal and the hunting camp (zone 23).
- Two night hotel stay in Montreal.
- Personalized greeting service in Montral & Schefferville.
- Land transportation to the hydroplane base.
- Motorized boat, gas and life jackets.
- ATV to transport game.
- Hot & Cold running water*, toilet*, shower*, and oil or wood heat.
- Dining Room, meals prepared by chef*.
- Communication equipment, radio*, and cellular phone.
- Warehouse on site for game storage.
- IF necessary, transportation to satellite camp.
- Topo map of hunting territory.
- One night stay in Schefferville, if necessary.
- Supervised parking for your vehicle in Montreal (Aug. & Sept. only!)
- Preparation and wrapping of the venison for the butcher in plastic boxes.
- Preparation of one trophy head for taxidermist.
- Federal (GST) and provincial taxes (TVQ)
*-Offered at the Inn site only!.. not at satellite camps.
- Caribou hunting licenses (2 tags) included.
- Plastic meat boxes.
- "FREE" cheesecloth, caping salt and meat boxes.
- Satellite phone with base camp; home base communications and topo maps of site.
- Generator in all camps.
NOT INCLUDED:
Meals and other expenses in Montreal and Schefferville (including your stay on arrival cused by climatic conditions preventing immediate transfer.)
Butcher Fees.
Sleeping bags bedding and towels.
Tips and alcoholic beverages.
Transportation of the 2nd set of antlers to Montreal (Split $50; Complete $100)
Excess baggage will cost $9.00 a pound ($20 a kilo). This amount due before boarding plane in Montreal (going) and in Schefferville (return). Transportation of 2nd set of antlers to Montreal is depending on space available.
Bear, small game and fishing licenses.
Motel rooms on way "out".. after hunt.
RESERVATION POLICIES:
A 30% non-refundable deposit** is required to validate your reservation. The balance is payable in total 45 days before the date of the trip.
RESERVATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR:
We offer a 10% discount to clients who reserve for the following year. You have up to 30 days after returning form your trip to confirm reservations for the next year. A 30% non-refundable deposit** is required to validate your reservation.
**The deposit, although not refundable, can be transferred to someone else (of your choice) or used the following year.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
During your stay, you will have Inn style comfortable living conditions at a camp in the middle of hte Quebec tundra. Each of these camps has a wooden floor and plywood walls.
The MAIN SITES:
Tunilik Inn (14 hunters maximum)
La source Inn (8 hunters maximum)
Dilhourse Inn (6 hunters maximum)
2 or 3 single beds in each room
Our SATELLITE CAMPS:
Capacity: 6 to 12 hunters; dormitory with 6 single beds.
NOTE: Satellite camps are utilized when we need to move hunters closer to herd migrations!
