"prime" private lands in Deer Creek's "Hills Region" in Webster
County, KY. *MORE prime whitetail lands in the "Bottoms
Region."
"The Hills Region": In 1994, Deer Creek
expanded on an already successful management program by implementing a 16" inside
spread with eight point minimum harvest requirement, or a 125 P&Y gross score.
The results have since been phenomenal! Our clients have harvested several
bucks that grossed in excess of 180 B&C/P&Y. The largest to date: 199 5/8
and sightings of over 100 record book bucks are reported each season. Know,
however, that trophy whitetails are predominantly nocturnal. It takes
persistence, time in the tree, proficiency as a hunter, and "luck"
to kill a mature whitetail. "Deer Creek" Bucks... Trophies
are the rule, NOT the Exception!... All "Hills Region" whitetail
hunts are full guided on 3,000 private acres and include lodging, meals, care of game,
field transportation, and a "fair-chase" opportunity to harvest one buck and one
doe. Lodging is semi-private.. two persons per room with private bath.
Breakfast is Continental , lunch is light and dinner is strictly first class: prime
rib of beef, butterflied pork chops, grilled chicken and char-broiled steaks are
typical entrees. We only accept a max of eight persons per hunt, sometimes
less.. to assure you of privacy and personal attention on your hunt. A trophy/great
room with satellite TV is also available for evening lounging.
"The Bottoms Region": Deer Creek's
"Bottoms Region" is also well-known for the trophy whitetails if holds.

Never" by Kathy Butt.) Located in the rich Ohio River basin, this area
is comprised of 2,000 acres of hardwood hills and bottoms, wetland sloughs, and
agricultural fields. Due to it's proximity to our facilities (35 miles north),
no lodging or meals are included. However, for the dedicated trophy
hunter, this is perhaps themost affordable big buck hunt in the nation, with
packages as low as $1,000. All hunts are guide assisted, and offer a
fair-chase opportunity for one buck and one doe. Archery, black powder and
(for the first time since our inception in 1981) rifle hunts are available.
"Spring Turkey" hunts include meals and
lodging, and are guided "one-on-one" on 5,000 acres of private
property. Legal hunting time is daylight until 1:00 p.m., with a limit of two
gobblers. We highly recommend you treat yourself to "no limit" quail hunts
in the afternoons, although sporting clays, riverboat gambling and golf are other
available options.
"Additional Opportunities"... It's a fact that Deer
Creek is recognized as a premier whitetail operation, and we are quickly gaining nationa
recognition a s a wingshooting operation as well. Our exclusive "no limit"
quail hunts are responsible for this escalating popularity. A party of two can
expect to fly 8 to 12 coveys in a half-day hunt. Waterfowl, sporting clays, and
private dove hunts are also available, and provide a virtual smorgasbord of

Early Season Archery (3-day) = $1,250
Archery "Rut" Hunts (3-day) = $1,500; (6-day) = $2,800
Late Season Archery (3-day) = $1,000 (Antlered deer only)
The "sub-standard buck assessment" is $500 (less than 16" inside
spread, with 8 point minimum); "Button Buck assessment" is $100.
License, tags & five percent guide fee not included in prices of hunts.
