NOTE TO CALLERS: Be sure to get the name and call back phone number of the person (coordinator) you speak with when you call. Make a note of the date and time you call and the ID number given to you for your call, if applicable.
NOTE TO CRIMESTOPPERS COORDINATORS: Coordinators should make personal / direct contact with local area Wildlife Law Enforcement Officers and maintain their names and phone numbers so they can easily follow-up on any information given by callers.
NOTE TO Wildlife Law Enforcement Officers: Officers should establish a direct communications liason with their local CrimeStoppers officers/coordinators so the flow of information will be flow quickly and without delay. Many wildlife violations are very "time sensitive" and quick action on a "tip"may mean the difference between making an arrest and a solid case and not making an arrest at all. Note that there may be more than one CrimeStoppers unit in your area. Make every attempt to meet and familiarize yourself with coordinators from all of them and assure that they know how to contact you directly with information.
